From 24 October to 2 November, Den Helder transforms every evening into a city full of color, creativity, and wonder. During the Helder Licht Festival, you can explore unique works of light, sound, and movement along the route from Willemsoord to the City Park.

Each location tells its own story. From the historic Water Tower to the modern surroundings of Willemsoord, you’ll encounter surprising light installations that make the city shine in a truly unique way.

All light artworks can be admired for free and together form an enchanting walking route full of atmosphere and experience.
