You can support nature together! In December, De Helderse Vallei hosts two activities where you can craft your own bird-feeder garland.
On Thursday, 11 December, the workshop focuses on “Making Bird Gifts”. Create a luxury bird-feeder garland with long-lasting treats and give it as a holiday present! Birds benefit greatly from the extra food in winter, and you’ll make someone special (or yourself) happy too.
On Tuesday, 30 December, you can join in again and help the birds in your own garden get through the cold season. During both workshops, an educational staff member is present to assist and share more about these animals, who truly appreciate some extra care.
Both activities take place from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM and are suitable for children aged 4 and up. Participation costs €3.50 per child, and registration in advance is required via www.deheldersevallei.nl/agenda
