Come to the Summer Library!
KopGroep Libraries invites all children aged 8 to 12 to join the Summer Library (ZomerBieb) this summer holiday. Build amazing creations during the LEGO event, learn to play chess, draw cartoons, and program a robot – it’s all possible at the Summer Library!
The fun kicks off on Tuesday, July 15th with a chess clinic at School 7 in Den Helder, especially for children aged 8 and up who want to learn chess or improve their skills.
Kids can also learn coding during CoderDojo, explore tons of LEGO at various libraries, take part in a porcelain dot painting workshop, or join the awesome theatre workshop from Theaterschool Schagen. In short: there’s something for everyone!
Storytime XL
For the youngest children (ages 2–6), there’s Storytime XL every Wednesday afternoon in various libraries during the Summer Library weeks. After listening to a lovely story, the children can enjoy crafting together.
