Hike through the nature of the North Head
A challenging 15-kilometer hike on Saturday, September 13, through several nature reserves managed by Landschap Noord-Holland, between Julianadorp and Den Helder. Along the way we will visit the Noordduinen, Grafelijkheidsduinen, Mariëndal, and Refugium. This hike takes you across the beach, through the dunes, the forest, and wild nature areas.
The guide will occasionally pause to provide explanations about the surrounding nature, but the focus is on walking. The pace is 5 kilometers per hour. Breaks for food and drinks are included, so make sure to bring enough with you. The route follows regular paths and partly runs along the coastline.
Wear sturdy hiking shoes and (rain) clothing. If you have binoculars, bring them along. Especially suitable for experienced hikers aged 12 and older. Please reserve your spot in advance; joining on the day itself is not possible.
